Caterpillar Frass

This is caterpillar frass (droppings), which is made up of undigested plant material. The size and shape means it is almost definitely a hawkmoth as in smaller species, the frass is just tiny crumbs like grit. If they have a fuchsia in the garden then I’d bet a million pounds it’s an elephant hawkmoth.
